The Royal Pita Maha had the pleasure to host Miss Universe 2008, the stunning Dayana Mendoza, for a private luncheon at the Terrace Restaurant during her recent visit to Ubud on 24 th August 2008. Ms. Medoza spent several hours in the company of Mr.Tjokorda Gde Raka Sukawati, owner of the resort and highly respected member of the local royal family. Over lunch Ms. Mendoza had the opportunity to relax and appreciate the timeless beauty of the natural landscape in a setting elevated high over the Ayung River valley.....

To mark a half-century of accomplishments, the museum is hosting three important exhibitions during the Summer of 2008, with the grand opening on July 14, 2008.....

On Monday August 20th 2007, Tjokorda Istri Putra Asmari died in hospital of Denpasar at the age of 76 years, after suffering from a sharp decline in health over the past few months. She leaves behind her younger brother, Tjokorda Gde Agung Suyasa, a half - brother, Tjokorda Raka Kerthyasa, two half sisters, Tjokorda Istri Oka & Tjokorda Istri Rai, two children, Tjokorda Gde Budi Suryawan & Tjokorda Istri Sri Candrawati, their spouse and five grandsons.....
